Hôtel de Montgascon is a well-maintained private mansion in the heart of Paris’ 7th district and was Françoise Sagan’s former home and source of inspiration.
To honour the writer, a great whisky connoisseur, our sommelier has created a series of tastings that invites your guests to (re)discover spirits. The tasting is complemented by the sommelier’s comments and held in one of the private reception lounges featuring shimmering colours, or in the romantic garden.

This presentation delves into the realm of this great figure of French literature, subtly incorporating the tasting of those spirits beloved by connoisseurs and epicureans.
Our sommelier, Caroline Marteau, will design workshops around rum, gin and other elixirs. The tastings put the emphasis on the spirit of sharing and the experience. Guests are taken on a sensory journey involving visual, olfactory and gustatory senses for a greater appreciation of the different spirits, and of their history and diversity.
